PAUL CARRACK
not just an ACE MECHANIC

On Monday 5th June 2000 I was once again at the Town Hall, this time it was to see Paul Carrack who used to be the lead singer with ACE, was lead singer on 'Tempted' by SQUEEZE, and was also a member of MIKE & THE MECHANICS.

From note one I knew this was going to be a good concert as the first track was 'Silent Running'. Another lovely tune performed was 'Eyes Of Blue' which I am going to have to get.

During the evening Paul introduced us to his backing singer, fifteen year old LINDSAY DRACASS who performed a song called 'Dedicated', I later found out was on six weeks work experience, I thought she had a brilliant voice, and feel that if she keeps up the singing she could be Britain's answer to Mariah Carey.

I really enjoyed the show, in fact I feel it was one of the best shows so far this year.
